The main objectives of RRTI are:

• To promote professional road transport of goods and people.
• To support logistics and professional training activities.
• To provide training related to tachograph management and digital cards.
• To organize tests, training and professional competence examinations.
• To organize training and examinations for initial driver qualification.
• To organize examinations for ADR drivers and ADR safety advisers.
• To manage and provide information relating to tachograph cards.
• To provide logistical support to the Ministry of Transport through research and transport development.
