Candidates with certain academic qualifications may be eligible for exemptions from parts of the examination.

The learning system lists qualifications including:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in law
• Bachelor's degree in economics, applied economics, commercial sciences or commercial engineering
• Master's degree in economics, law or management
• Bachelor's degree in management, accounting and taxation
• Bachelor of Management in Applied Law
• Master's degree in accounting and auditing
• Graduate qualification in accounting
• Graduate qualification in taxation

Candidates applying for an exemption are required to attach a copy of the relevant diploma to their registration form.
