What We Do
RRTI provides professional education and services for people working in, or preparing to enter, the road transport sector.
Its activities include:
Professional competence
Training and examinations for transport entrepreneurs and professional drivers.
Driver qualification
The Institute provides theoretical and practical courses supporting professional driver qualification for C, CE, D and DE categories.
ADR training
RRTI provides courses preparing candidates for ADR examinations and refresher training for maintaining ADR certification.
Transport management
RRTI supports candidates seeking the professional competence required to manage road transport companies.
Digital tachograph
The Institute is responsible for the proposed management and issuance of tachograph-card information and supports the introduction of digital tachographs.
Research
RRTI's work includes research and analysis intended to support the development and modernization of Rwanda's road transport sector.
