The driver card is a personal tachograph card belonging to the driver.

It:

• Identifies the driver.
• Records the driver's individual activities.
• Records driving and rest information.
• Has a maximum lifespan of five years.
• Must be replaced in cases such as loss, theft or malfunction.
• Stores the driver's relevant activity data for at least 28 days.

Each driver may have only one driver card.
